Look to the Good

I look out the window,

The sun is shining,

Don’t need to feel bad

and no room for whining.

I feel so much better

after my swim today.

There’s no need to feel glum,

So dispel the grey!

———

When fools get me down

and life sucks a bit,

I look to the good parts

and don’t wallow in the shit!

Each day I’m thankful

and throw my head up.

Carry on with strength

Although sometimes I’m fed up.
